Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University (MPMSU), located in Jabalpur, was set up by Madhya Pradesh's government in 2011. It is a state university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Medical Council of India (MCI). MPMSU operates as the central authority for all Dental, Nursing, Medicine, Paramedical, Homeopathic, Ayurvedic, Unani, and Yoga colleges in Madhya Pradesh.
