The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, commonly called IIM Ahmedabad, is a renowned public business school founded in 1961. It holds the distinction of being the first business school in India to receive international accreditation from EQUIS, awarded by the EFMD. In the NIRF MBA rankings for 2025, IIM Ahmedabad is at the top position in India. Globally, it has been ranked 31st by the Financial Times and 61st by QS in 2025. The Consumer Tech sector saw an 800% increase, the Cards and Financial Advisory sector rose by 300%, and Advisory Consulting increased by 120%. For the MBA course, the highest package offered was INR 1.10 crore per annum, with the average package being INR 35.50 LPA in 2025. The institute reported 395 offers, encompassing 393 domestic and 2 international ones, with 156 offers coming from the Consulting sector. The highest CTC of INR 1.10 crore per annum was offered by a BFSI sector company.
