Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS), a private college based in Delhi, was established in 1998. The institution is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) and holds approvals from AICTE. It has also been awarded an A++ grade by NAAC. In the rankings by IIRF in 2024, VIPS stood at 50 in India, while Collegedunia placed its B.Tech program at 444 in 2025. VIPS offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses across its seven schools, which include the School of Law & Legal Studies, School of Information Technology, and School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Additionally, it offers programs through the School of Business Studies, School of Economics, School of English Studies, and School of Engineering and Technology. The flagship course at VIPS is the B.Tech in Computer Science. Admission into this course requires performance in the JEE Main and the 10+2 exams. The total fees for the 2025-26 academic year is INR 5.58 lakhs. There are six different specializations available for the B.Tech degree. Apart from the B.Tech, VIPS also provides courses like BA LLB, BBA LLB, BAJMC, and BCA, among others. Admission to these courses is managed through GGSIPU Counselling and IPU-CET scores. The placement data for 2025 is yet to be released, but according to the NIRF 2024 report, the highest package offered was INR 8 lakh per annum, and the average package stood at INR 4.46 lakh per annum. Around 70-80% of students secured placements. Major recruiters included companies like Wipro, Amazon, Oracle, and Infosys.
