The Faculty of Law at the University of Delhi, often referred to as DU Law Faculty, is one of India's most iconic and respected legal institutions. It has produced numerous legal luminaries, including judges, advocates, and policymakers, and is particularly renowned for its 3-year LL.B. program. For the 2026 admission cycle, entry into both the 3-year LL.B. and the LL.M. programs will be based on the scores obtained in the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate programs (CUET PG), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The eligibility for the LL.B. program requires a candidate to have completed a graduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks. For the LL.M. program, a candidate must possess an LL.B. degree with the requisite minimum marks. The application process is centralized through the CUET PG portal, with registrations expected to open around April 2026. Following the declaration of CUET PG results, Delhi University will conduct its own counselling process for seat allocation. Being a central university, it offers highly subsidized education, and students can also apply for various university-level and national scholarships based on merit and financial need.
