Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, popularly known as NLU Lucknow, is an independent law institution founded in 2005 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. It has the recognition of both the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Bar Council of India (BCI). In 2025, it secured the 16th spot in Collegedunia rankings, 14th according to NIRF, and was rated 10th by India Today in the law category.
