NLIU Bhopal, officially known as National Law Institute University, is a state university in Madhya Pradesh, established in 1997. Recognized by both the UGC and the Bar Council of India, this institution garnered a 4th place ranking in India's law category by India Today in 2025, and an 8th place by IIRF in the same year. The university offers various programs including BA LLB (Hons), B.Sc LLB (Hons) at the undergraduate level, LLM, and MS at the postgraduate level, along with PhD programs. There is also a PG Diploma available through distance education. NLIU Bhopal admits both national and international students based on their performance in CLAT UG for BA and B.Sc LLB (Hons) and CLAT PG for LLM, followed by a counselling session.
