

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, commonly referred to as IP University or IPU, is a prominent state university situated in Delhi. Founded in 1998, it stretches over 78 acres and enrolls over 8,000 students, making it one of Delhi's largest universities. IPU is recognized by the UGC and has earned an 'A++' grade from NAAC. According to Collegedunia, it ranks 163 in the Medical field in 2025 and holds the 42nd position for B.Tech as per IIRF 2025. The university boasts more than 120 affiliated colleges, with 83 privately financed and 35 administrated by the Government of NCT of Delhi.
