The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, or JIPMER, is a noted public institute situated in Puducherry, established back in 1964. It's recognized by the Medical Council of India and ranks prominently, holding the 5th spot in the NIRF rankings and 10th under IIRF's medical category in 2024. JIPMER offers a variety of courses from undergraduate to super-specialty levels, with MBBS being particularly popular among undergraduates.
